Gnomonosity is a medium scale, horizontal sundial project that will be a functioning day and night time keeper. The steel gnomon is the vertical piece that creates the shadow. It is in the shape of a triangle, with plasma cut stars. During the day, time will be shown by the shadow of the sun. At night, time will be shown by having the corresponding number glowing red. There will be tick marks that will indicate if it is the 15, 30 or 45 minute of the hour. The 15s will be blue, the 30s will be red and the 45s will be green. When it's 3:45 in the morning, the "3" will be red and the green LED that follows will glow. At night the time will be within 15 minutes of accuracy.
